They often rely on complex and unintuitive display button sequences for activating, deactivating, or adjusting speed limits. This makes operation cumbersome, especially during a ride. In some cases, users must stop the bicycle and manually rotate the rear wheel multiple times to initiate or confirm the selected setting — a process that is inefficient and inconvenient for real-world riding conditions.

Before purchasing this device, it is essential to verify the “Product Code” of your Bosch motor to ensure compatibility.
The Product Code is printed directly on the motor label.
In the example image, the two label formats currently used by Bosch are shown, with the Product Codes highlighted in red.

❌ Classic Spoke Magnet Systems
This device is not compatible with e-bikes equipped with the traditional magnet mounted on the wheel spokes or brake disc.
❌ Bosch ABS Equipped Bikes
This device is not compatible with e-bikes using the Bosch ABS braking system.
❌ Bosch ConnectModule / GPS Systems
This device is not compatible with e-bikes equipped with the Bosch ConnectModule GPS system.
VOLSPEED BOSCH RIM MAGNET (BDU37 AND BDU38)
The module removes the 25 km/h speed restriction and allows speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph).
Compatible with e-bikes equipped with a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and a rim magnet.
Important: This tuning only works with bikes that have a rim magnet. Models without a rim magnet are not supported.

Important Notes
• Installing this module requires removing the motor. Specialized knowledge is necessary. If you lack expertise, have the tuning installed by a specialist.
• The tuning is mounted at a predefined location on the motor. Some bike models may not have enough space, making installation impossible.
