MBIQ-P for SHIMANO EP8 / EP8-RS motors
The MBIQ-P for Shimano EP8 mid-mounted motors is a plug-in solution with an ultra-small installation space.
The existing speed sensor can be plugged in directly. The tuning has the same connectors as the existing sensor cable, so that it can be easily inserted between the speed sensor and the motor control.
It is compatible with the common motor firmware of the manufacturer and is based on a microcontroller.
The current speed profile is analysed, processed and, when tuning is activated, manipulated values are output.
The maximum assistance speed can be set in several stages. You can choose to what extent the limit should be raised.
Programmable by the customer!
The functionality can be reprogrammed after installation without additional devices.
MODE 1: Tuning permanently activated (permanent motor support)
MODE 2: Tuning permanently deactivated (motor support up to 25 km / h)
MODE 3: Tuning according to switch-on condition (via magnet, can be deactivated while driving!)
(Analogous to the setting of the tuning mode, the V-Max is also set, more in the instructions)
Compatible with the common motor firmware of the manufacturer. The manipulated values do not affect the evaluation of the engine software.
HIGHLY INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS
Thanks to the highly integrated electronics, the tuning takes place in the smallest of spaces. No additional power supply / battery is required for operation.

The current speed profile is analysed, processed and, when tuning is activated, manipulated values are output. As a result, the speed indicator on the display "freezes" at approx. 23 km/h (depending on the model) when driving> 25 km/h. There is no halving of the speed (as with some other products)!
