NOTE: Conventional tuning modules offer only limited functionality compared to today’s e-bike standards. They often rely on complex and unintuitive display button sequences for activating, deactivating, or adjusting speed limits. This makes operation cumbersome, especially during a ride. In some cases, users must stop the bicycle and manually rotate the rear wheel multiple times to initiate or confirm the selected setting — a process that is inefficient and inconvenient for real-world riding conditions.

The MBIQ-P for Shimano EP801 / EP6 / EP600 mid-engines is a "hybrid" tuning with two different manipulation modes on board and was specially developed for the latest engine generation.
The existing speed sensor can be plugged in directly. The tuning has the same connectors as the existing sensor cable, so it can be easily inserted between the speed sensor and the motor control.
It is compatible with the manufacturers' common motor firmwares and works on a microcontroller basis.
The current speed profile is analysed, processed and manipulated values are output when tuning is activated.
"HYBRID TAMPER"
Instead of the well-known FREEZE manipulation (freezing the speedometer <25 km/h), the module uses a new, additional manipulation method, the DAMP mode. Here, the output manipulated speed is "damped" according to an algorithm and a final speed with a factor of X is reached.
MOTION PROGRAMMING
Programmable by the customer!
The functionality can be reprogrammed after installation without additional devices.

"ANTI TUNING" READY
Compatible with the manufacturers' common engine firmware. The manipulated values do not affect the evaluation of the engine software.
HIGHLY INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC
Thanks to the highly integrated electronics, tuning takes place in the smallest possible space. No additional power supply/battery is required for operation.
When delivered, the module is in DAMP mode with a set factor of 1.35 . This enables a top speed of up to approx. 34 km/h.
Adjusting the value/mode is the responsibility of the owner and may (but does not have to) lead to manipulation detections.
This is signaled by the ERROR code: E295. If this appears, the value/mode must be adjusted back immediately.
ATTENTION: The preset value has proven to be error-free in our test series, but is not a guarantee. If you receive errors regardless of the operating mode, remove the module immediately and contact the manufacturer.If error E295 is ignored several times, the entire drive unit will be blocked and error E299 will be displayed. This can only be reversed by the dealer!

Please make sure that your ACC port has voltage after switching on. Apparently some manufacturers deactivate this at the factory. If this is the case, have the port activated by your dealer beforehand!
VERY EASY INSTALLATION - the tuning is simply plugged between the existing sensor cable and the engine and can be removed again if necessary.
