Fazua es una empresa alemana de Baviera que lanzó su primer motor en 2017. El lanzamiento del Fazua Evation engine system immediately caught the attention from the public and from e-bike manufacturers due to its unique design. Per example, the conventional setup of having the heavy drive unit mounted on the bottom bracket has been replaced by the gear unit. The gear unit transmits the power of the motor to the drive which can determine the pedalling force of the rider by using several sensors. The actual motor is located in a cylindrical extension along with the battery to form a single unit. In 2022, a new drive system is released, the FAZUA RIDE 60. This new drive system is more powerful than its predecessor, with an additional 10 Nm of extra torque totalling a max torque of 60Nm. The Fazua Ride 60 motor weights only 1.96 kg and thus an excellent power / weight ratio.
