In 2018, the renowned German SACHS brand re-entered the two-wheeler industry with “SACHS Micro Mobility”, with a very clear focus on e-mobility. In the same year, the company presented the first self-developed e-bike engine, called the SACHS RS. With an outstanding maximum of 110 Nm, this powerful engine completely set a new standards in terms of performance. The SACHS RS delivers a high torque even at very low cadence making the engine ideally suited for e-bikes that require a particularly powerful engine, for example e-MTBs and cargo e-bikes. In 2019, SACHS Micro Mobility launched several additional high-quality engines to suit various ebike types allowing e-bike manufacturers to choose a particular engine model for a specific type of bike.
