EPAspeed Mahle Ebike Motion X35 and X35+ INSTRUCTIONS

Properly fix the device to the frame and feed the excess cable into the frame.

                                                                           

   Fix tuning to the chainstay with cable ties (if required)

Once the EPAspeed tuning is installed the tuning is always active. The travelled speed is displayed as halved. If your e-bike is equipped with a display or you use the Ebike Motion App then you can ride knowing that the speed even if halved is always accurate. Therefore, there is no need for an additional GPS to track the correct values of your rides. 
Once the tuning is removed the bicycle automatically reset to the original pre-tuning settings.

IMPORTANT: Once the EPAspeed device has been installed, the electric bicycle, exceeding the 25 kmh limit, is compared to a moped and as such, if it circulates in public places, needs the approval / registration, is subject to payment of the road tax and insurance coverage, must have the plate, can not circulate on the bike paths and the driver has the obligation of driving with license and must use the helmet. Furthermore, the driving of a motorized bicycle equivalent to a moped that does not comply with the aforementioned provisions involves the administrative seizure of the vehicle and pecuniary penalties that vary depending on the offense committed. The EPAspeed device manufacturer declines any responsibility for any damage caused to the pedal assisted bicycles on which the device is mounted as well as to direct or indirect damage to people or property. Please note that the modification to the bicycle invalidates the manufacturer's warranty.
