EPAspeed Tuning für Mahle Ebike Motion X35 und X35+
Das EPAspeed ist mit allen Nabenmotoren mit 9-Pin-Anschluss kompatibel, die über einen im Motor integrierten Geschwindigkeitssensor verfügen, wie beispielsweise dem Mahle X35 oder X35+, auch bekannt als Ebike Motion X35 und X35+. Das Tuning wird direkt am Kabel installiert, das den Nabenmotor mit dem E-Bike-Akku verbindet und entlang der Kettenstrebe verläuft.

Wie funktioniert das EPAspeed Mahle?
Sobald das EPAspeed-Tuning installiert ist, ist es immer aktiv. Die gefahrene Geschwindigkeit wird halbiert angezeigt. Wenn Ihr E-Bike mit einem Display ausgestattet ist oder Sie die Ebike Motion App nutzen, können Sie sicher sein, dass die Geschwindigkeit auch bei halbierter Geschwindigkeit immer korrekt ist. Sie benötigen daher kein zusätzliches GPS, um die korrekten Werte Ihrer Fahrten zu erfassen.
Sobald die Abstimmung entfernt wird, wird das Fahrrad automatisch auf die ursprünglichen Einstellungen vor der Abstimmung zurückgesetzt.
Wichtig: Aufgrund der konstruktiven Besonderheiten des Nabenmotors mit integriertem Geschwindigkeitssensor ist es schwierig, die maximal zulässige Geschwindigkeit ohne Drosselung vorherzusagen. Theoretisch sind Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 40 km/h möglich, in der Praxis liegen jedoch Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 30 km/h im Toleranzbereich. Dies liegt daran, dass es sich um einen Nabenmotor mit 40 Nm Drehmoment handelt, der schnell an seine Grenzen stößt. Sollte das Tuning keine höheren Geschwindigkeiten zulassen, liegt dies nicht am Tuning selbst, sondern an den Limitationen von Motor, Akku und deren Firmware.

I ordered one and installed it properly. Support was increased to ca. 30km/h, but the power of te motor was reduced at the same time by ca. 50%. Worst experience for a non functioning product. As explained via email, this has nothing to do with the EPAspeed Tuning itself. Your bike brand make use of a small battery and thus the battery BMS does not allow extra power for speeds over 29-30 kmh..

Hello, due to the constructive characteristics of the hub motor, theoretic speeds up to 40 km/h are possible but in reality up to 30 km/h are within the tolerance range. This is determined by the configuration of your engine system.

I received the unit fitted it but it would not work. After contacting EPASpeed I reported a second failure. By return a new unit had been dispatched and now they have a very happy customer. Das Tuning Kit funktioniert ganz gut ab und zu ruckelt der Motor. Das liegt aber wahrscheinlich daran, dass mein Motor nicht auf der Liste stand, für die das Tuning Kit geeignet ist.
